A new stage in the local energy transition process
CERCLE GESPROMAT was the company responsible for the deployment and commissioning of the office of Viladecans’ new energy company, created within the framework of the European VILAWATT project with the aim of leading the local energy transition.
This office acts as an information and energy management hub for citizens, businesses and retailers, offering the possibility of contracting 100% renewable energy supply through a collaboration with AURA ENERGIA.
The new energy company, structured through a consortium between the Viladecans City Council and the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona (AMB), plans to progressively incorporate civic organisations and professional stakeholders in order to consolidate a shared and participatory governance model.
The launch of this office represents a decisive step towards a proximity-based energy model and citizen collaboration, where public and private management complement each other to generate trust, efficiency and genuine sustainability.
