The project will be replicated in Greece, Belgium and Hungary as a European success story
The VILAWATT project, promoted by the Viladecans City Council with the support of the European Union, has been selected to lead the transfer network of innovative projects promoted by the URBACT and Urban Innovative Actions (UIA) programmes. Over the next two years, its model will be replicated in Trikala (Greece), Seraing (Belgium) and Nagykanizsa (Hungary).
This recognition consolidates VILAWATT’s role as a European benchmark in local energy transition, following its distinction in 2020 as one of the five best EU projects at the RegioStars Awards.
CERCLE GESPROMAT participates by contributing its expertise in the technical and strategic management of European projects, ensuring feasibility and control during the transfer phase to new cities.
This new stage will make it possible to transfer the Viladecans experience to other European cities, with the support of CERCLE GESPROMAT to guarantee coherence, feasibility and real impact of the actions.
