An exclusive residential development of 20 semi-detached homes located at Camiral Golf & Wellness, redefining the relationship between architecture and nature through a design that adapts to the terrain and invites a lifestyle of calm, light and landscape.
Ginesta Villas is much more than a residential development: it is a way of inhabiting the landscape. Located on the eastern edge of Camiral Golf & Wellness, this project of 20 semi-detached homes is based on a clear premise —disconnecting from noise and reconnecting with the natural environment— and resolves it through an integrated, serene and functional architecture.
The concept
The project is organised into 10 paired units, each formed by two single-family homes, which unfold across terraces on a site with marked topography. The natural slope is used to step the volumes, ensuring privacy, open views and maximum solar exposure. The main access is located at the highest point of the plot, while an internal road connects to the private garages, concealed beneath a large communal green area.
The homes are arranged in a fan-shaped layout, oriented towards the golf course landscape, with an architecture inspired by the strata of the earth: linear walls in textured cream tones slide past one another, generating shadows, depth and a vaporous effect that blurs the boundaries between building and nature. Horizontal pergolas connect the two units of each block, reinforcing visual continuity and giving character to the ensemble.
Each dwelling is structured over three levels: a main floor with the day area, a bedroom and direct access to the private garden with swimming pool; an upper floor with two suites, one of them featuring a large terrace-viewpoint; and a lower floor with an additional bedroom, a multipurpose room, a full bathroom and a technical room, all organised around a central courtyard that acts as a light well and a visual connector between levels.
Vegetation is not an addition, but a fundamental part of the project: a large proportion of the land has been left undeveloped, and the communal areas become green spaces that connect, humanise and enhance access to each home. The proposal moves away from the typical grouping of independent units to offer a more fluid, open and landscape-respectful residential experience.
Ginesta Villas is a discreet and elegant architecture that seeks to blend into its surroundings, offering quality, comfort and a new way of inhabiting the boundary between nature and architecture.
For the Cercle Gespromat team, responsible for coordinating the execution of the works, this project represented an exciting and highly stimulating challenge. The site’s topographical complexity, the level of construction precision required and the ambition for landscape integration demanded close collaboration between developers, architects, technicians and contractors. For this reason, we would like to especially acknowledge the sensitivity and rigour of LaGula Arquitectes, whose work has allowed this architecture to truly breathe with the site, fusing construction and landscape.
