Rehabilitation of a rustic house in “l’Empordà”

The architect Pep Salló carried out the rehabilitation of this rustic house located in l’Empordà between forests and fields and 5 minutes far from the sea. The simplicity of the house is characteristic of the Catalan rustic style. It is divided in three parts with a garden and forest. The house counts with a viewpoint with unique views to the Medas Islands. The house preserves all its essence and charming thanks to the maintenance of its structure and the roof consolidation. All the access doors and windows are painted in blue which contrasts with the stone walls and the terracotta pavement.
