Viladecans promotes three pilot buildings to move towards a real and sustainable energy transition
The VILAWATT project takes a further step forward with the start of energy retrofit works on three buildings in the Montserratina neighbourhood, conceived as pilot experiences to demonstrate the potential of deep energy renovations within the city’s existing building stock.
CERCLE GESPROMAT has taken part in the technical and strategic coordination of the process, from drafting the guidelines for the selection of the “demo” buildings to providing legal, technical and economic advice to both the Viladecans City Council and the homeowners’ associations.
These interventions represent a decisive step in Viladecans’ energy transformation, positioning the city as a European benchmark for urban innovation and sustainability.
A project that demonstrates how technical management and citizen participation can transform the built environment and move towards more sustainable and conscious cities.
