New construction of a single-family home with private outdoor pool. The house is distributed on two levels with the access and parking area on the upper floor, to facilitate the relationship with the urbanized road and minimize alterations on the original topography.
The implementation of the house is determined by the original topography of the plot, which has elevation differences of more than 11 meters between its northern and southern ends, and by the fact that the access is at the highest point of the plot. This fact, together with the height limitation established by the regulations, means that the volumetric of the building is subject to an express desire to integrate with the terrain, with the minimum possible visual impact. The elevated position of the plot guarantees excellent views from inside the house to the south and east, facing the golf course.
Based on these pre-existences, the building is conceived as a minimalist defined essentially by the formal clarity of its geometry and by the presence, texture and chromatism of the dominant construction element: exposed white concrete, formed with vertical slats of pine wood. Without a doubt, these vertical façade walls with exposed concrete and the great horizontal plans of the ceilings are the real protagonists of the building.
The orderly and rigorous composition of these planes creates large shaded areas that enrich the interior-exterior transition spaces while acting as a natural protection for the large glazed openings facing south.
The desire for landscape integration and the formal arrangement of the building thus responds, first of all, to the need to obtain a very open and functional first floor, directly connected to the garden.
